Trans Activists Outraged Over Twitter Removing Restrictions On Misgendering

Radical transgender activists and their allies are outraged after Twitter made a move to allow for even more free speech on the platform — removing restrictions on “dead-naming” and misgendering from Twitter’s Terms of Service.

In 2018, Twitter created the policy to protect so-called “transgender” users’ feelings at the expense of free speech and truth. Now that Elon Musk has taken over as CEO, Twitter’s previous management’s rules are being removed and relaxed to allow users to speak freely.

On Sunday, Musk blasted the concept of declaring preferred pronouns as “virtue-signaling.”

“Pronouns are virtue-signaling, so inevitably, as with all virtue-signaling, they will be used as a shield by bad humans,” he tweeted.

Two days after Musk sent that tweet, the policy against misgendering was changed.

Now, the left is throwing a fit — with some activists even claiming that the decision was “bad for free speech.”

GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis claimed in a statement to the Associated Press that allowing for misgendering and dead-naming transgender people would somehow lead to violence against them.

“Twitter’s decision to covertly roll back its longtime policy is the latest example of just how unsafe the company is for users and advertisers alike,” Ellis said.

“This decision to roll back LGBTQ safety pulls Twitter even more out of step with TikTok, Pinterest, and Meta, which all maintain similar policies to protect their transgender users at a time when anti-transgender rhetoric online is leading to real-world discrimination and violence,” she claimed.

Other leftist activists condemned the decision on social media.

“Twitter lifts its policy on targeted misgendering and deadnaming and the freaks are out gleefully misgendering and deadnaming every prominent trans person as an achievement. It’s not about speech, it’s about bullies wanting to harass people because of who they are,” said trans activist Alejandra Caraballo, a man who claims to be a woman.

“Every decision Musk makes is bad for free speech, safety, business,” attorney Nora Benavidez absurdly claimed — causing many conservatives to question her about how allowing more free speech is bad for free speech.

At least one other Twitter user claimed that the policy change was a “genocidal move.”

To transgender individuals, being “misgendered” is one of the worst crimes imaginable, to the point where they even defended a female mass shooter who claimed to be a man — who killed three children and three adults at a Christian school in Nashville. Many media outlets and radical leftist activists became outraged over people referring to the murderer as a woman.
