In this article, we use the term “UFO,” but not to suggest a Martian presence in New York. The evidence does support an encounter with an unidentified object, potentially material or spiritual, linked to a U.S. or foreign government facility, another world, the ocean’s depths, a parallel dimension, or an otherworldly realm.

The near miss was the only incident among 757 UAP reports over the past year to be flagged as a potential flight safety issue. While the details of the airline and timing have not been disclosed, the Pentagon is treating the case seriously.
The annual report from the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) identified nearly 300 incidents as conventional objects such as drones, balloons, or satellites. However, many cases remain unresolved due to incomplete data.
Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough confirmed with IGN that recently shared photos and videos of UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) were in fact taken by US Navy personnel for "ongoing examinations." https://t.co/U5DQ9ZuaqX pic.twitter.com/0fpiDv2Rzp

Descriptions from witnesses have ranged from spherical or orb-shaped objects to unusual lights. Some reports even included more fantastical sightings, such as a jellyfish-like object with flashing lights. Musk’s Starlink satellites have also been a common source of mistaken sightings.
AARO officials made it clear that none of the cases reviewed show signs of extraterrestrial origins. “To date, AARO has discovered no evidence of extraterrestrial beings, activity, or technology,” the report stated.
