Sen. Durbin’s Daughter Tied To Coordinated Effort Against Trump Nominees

Documents shared by independent journalist Laura Loomer suggest that Sen. Dick Durbin has been using his daughter, Jen Durbin, to distribute pre-written scripts to activists protesting President Donald Trump’s judicial nominees. The revelations indicate that these protests may not be as organic as they appear.

Loomer, posting evidence on X, uncovered that Jen Durbin has shared scripts on social media instructing protesters on what to say when contacting Republican senators. Sens. Bill Cassidy, Mitch McConnell, Lisa Murkowski, Todd Young, and Susan Collins were listed as lawmakers to pressure in opposing Trump’s nominees.

Jen Durbin, who runs a production studio in Brooklyn, appears to have been facilitating these scripted efforts. A section of the documents instructs participants with the words “HERE IS YOUR SCRIPT!”—suggesting that individuals following the plan are not acting independently but are instead reading from a prepared set of talking points.

Another portion of the script urges activists to “tell them to arrest Elon Musk.” Loomer pointed out that this demonstrates how Durbin’s coordinated efforts extend beyond judicial confirmations and into broader political messaging.

The Senate Judiciary Committee, where Sen. Durbin holds a senior role, is responsible for overseeing confirmation hearings. The discovery of these scripts raises concerns about the authenticity of opposition efforts against Trump’s nominees.

Neither Sen. Durbin nor his daughter has responded to the growing scrutiny over these findings.
