U.S. military forces have begun their deployment to the southern border as President Donald Trump takes swift action to address illegal immigration. On Friday, hundreds of troops arrived to assist federal agents in reinforcing border security and halting illegal crossings. This deployment is part of a broader effort to fulfill campaign promises of cracking down on unlawful entries and strengthening national security.
The initial wave of forces includes Marine Corps engineers from California and Army units from bases in Texas, Kentucky, and New York. Their primary objectives include fortifying physical barriers, assisting with surveillance, and providing logistical support to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Officials have indicated that the number of deployed personnel could increase based on evolving needs at the border.
The US military is protecting America’s borders and not another country half way across the world’s borders.
Finally America First.
Thank you President Trump!

Alongside the military response, the Trump administration has initiated aggressive deportation measures. Air Force transport planes have started repatriation flights, carrying deported individuals from Texas and Arizona to their home countries. The flights mark a significant escalation in enforcement efforts under the administration’s renewed focus on immigration policies.

State and local law enforcement agencies are also being brought into the effort. The Department of Homeland Security has begun deputizing local officers to assist federal agents in conducting operations and detaining illegal immigrants. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller confirmed that state and local officials who obstruct federal actions will face legal consequences.

In addition to these efforts, the administration has taken steps to close key border entry points, including El Paso, Texas, and has discontinued the CBP One app, which previously allowed migrants to apply for entry. These measures are intended to tighten border controls and prevent further illegal crossings.

The Pentagon continues to work on logistical planning to meet the administration’s security goals. Defense officials have stated that further reinforcements may be necessary, with the potential to expand the mission to include additional military units in the coming weeks.
