A New Mexico homeowner shot and killed an alleged intruder during the early hours of Tuesday morning after the suspect broke into their home in Albuquerque. Bernalillo County deputies responded to a call at approximately 3:45 a.m. about the break-in near Lost Horizon Drive.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered the intruder with critical injuries. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the suspect was later pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
