Elon Musk Blasts Endless Support For War As Families Lose Loved Ones

In a candid exchange with Fox News anchor Brett Baier, Elon Musk strongly criticized politicians and others who continue backing military aid to Ukraine without offering a plan to end the war. Musk expressed concern about the number of lives lost while the battle lines remain frozen.

Musk defended his recent post calling Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) a traitor after Kelly shared support for Ukraine aid. Musk said American leadership must prioritize national interests. “If they don’t, they’re a traitor,” he said.

Baier reminded Musk of Kelly’s military service and past as an astronaut. Musk acknowledged those accomplishments but said they don’t excuse putting another country’s needs ahead of the United States. “It doesn’t mean it’s okay for him to put the interests of another country above America,” Musk said.

Musk then focused on the human suffering caused by the ongoing war. He said people are dying each day in trenches with no progress being made on the ground. He noted that the fighting has dragged on for two years with the borders remaining unchanged. “Thousands of people have died every week for nothing,” he said.

He said he finds it offensive when people use empty moral language while failing to address the actual cost. “Those who virtue signal and say, ‘Oh, we can’t give in to Russia,’ but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day. They just want that to continue forever,” Musk said.

Musk said those unwilling to consider peace are allowing families to suffer without purpose. He said the cost includes children growing up without fathers and parents losing their sons. “For what? Nothing,” Musk said.
