Biden Defense Dept. Faces Lawsuit Surrounding Military Use

Joe Biden’s Department of Defense is being taken to court over information pertaining to the use of U.S. Marines during his infamous and divisive anti-Maga speech delivered in 2022, WND reports.

At the time, Biden was seen speaking in front of a dark-red backdrop that some described as a ‘hellish red background.’

CNN altered the lighting of the photo at the time to be less red, according to reports.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy reacted to the speech, remarking that it is “surreal” that the photo was not photoshopped, before adding, “Every time I think Biden and crew can’t be dumber they outdo themselves. Seriously who gives a speech warning people about how dangerous Republicans are to Democracy while having a background that looks like the Soviet Union and Hitler had a baby?”

It was during that speech that Biden said supporters of former President Trump are “an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

“Biden’s infamous ‘Red Speech,’ which included the abuse of our Marines in its totalitarian imagery, painted a target on Trump and tens of millions of Americans for political suppression and worse,” commented Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “And, to make matters worse, the Pentagon is violating federal law by hiding records about Biden’s misuse of our military in his attempt to intimidate Americans.”

Biden emphatically asserted that “There is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans,” and that they pose a “threat” to the United States.

“MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution,” Biden claimed. “They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they’re working right now, as I speak, in state after state to give power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself.”

Recently, Judicial Watch discussed its Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against Biden’s DoD, which hopes to uncover records pertaining to the use of the aforementioned U.S. Marines as political tools during Biden’s “controversial September 1, 2022, campaign speech in Philadelphia.”

Now, the group is reportedly suing the DoD after it “failed to comply with an October 31, 2022, FOIA request for all communications within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Navy, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Commandant of Marine Corps – and those shared with the White House Military Office and Office of the President – regarding Marines standing behind the President during his September 1, 2022, speech in Philadelphia.”
