Uh Oh! Adam Schiff Accused Of Leaking Classified Information

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) became a media darling during the Trump years. He made sure to hog every television camera as much as possible, accusing the then-president of wrongdoing. However, revelations indicate Schiff may be in some trouble of his own.

Former CIA Director Mike Pompeo (R) said that Schiff should not be allowed near classified documents. Pompeo, who also served as secretary of state, knows what he’s talking about when it comes to classified materials.

The animosity over Schiff’s grandstanding reached a fever pitch while Trump was president. Schiff’s outspoken methods were ineffective, yet loud.

Now, Schiff is in the spotlight for his hypocrisy regarding leaking classified information.

Pompeo held no punches against Schiff in an interview with Fox News. He said, “Adam Schiff lied to the American people, and during my time as CIA director and secretary of state, I know that he leaked classified information that had been provided to him.”

Furthermore, the timing may also be good for Pompeo, who is allegedly gearing up for a potential run for president in 2024 — which would make him the highest-profile Republican candidate to enter the race after former President Donald Trump.

Schiff may be hoping for infighting among Republicans to distract from his current scandal. Unfortunately for him, he’ll have to wait until after the primary season begins.

Pompeo cited Schiff’s troubled tenure on the House Intelligence Committee. According to the former secretary of state, Schiff was distracted by accusations of collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Russian government rather than more pressing issues.

In addition, Pompeo said that Schiff repressed the Hunter Biden laptop story, even though it proved to be true.

Schiff has been removed from the House Intelligence Committee since Republicans took control of the chamber.

Of course, Schiff’s office denied Pompeo’s claims. However, years of watching Schiff’s errors and desire for attention make Pompeo’s claims credible. After all, why would anyone trust Schiff with national security information?
