Poll: Most Voters Believe Joe Biden Participated In Son’s Business

In a recent poll, a majority of registered voters stated that they believe President Joe Biden was involved in the business dealings of his son, Hunter Biden.

A Harvard-CAPS/Harris poll released on Monday showed that 60% of registered voters believe that Joe Biden participated in his son’s business dealings, while only 40% believe he was not involved.

When broken down by political party, 81% of Republicans believe the president was involved in his son’s business dealings, while 59% of independents and 39% of Democrats believe the same. Meanwhile, 61% of Democrats do not believe Joe Biden participated in his son’s business dealings, while only 19% of Republicans and 41% of independents believe the same.

The poll was conducted among 2,851 registered American voters between November 15-16.

The survey comes as House Republicans continue their impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden and his involvement in his family’s business dealings — investigating evidence showing that his family was involved in influence peddling, using Joe Biden’s political positions to benefit the family throughout his time in office.

The investigation is being led by House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY), House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO).

The White House is currently obstructing the investigation, according to Comer, as they are refusing to hand over several documents that House Republicans have requested or subpoenaed. These documents include a trove of roughly 82,000 pages of emails sent or received by then-Vice President Biden using pseudonyms.

The Biden administration has also refused to hand over documents proving that Joe Biden loaned money to his brother, James Biden after two suspicious checks from James to Joe were uncovered. While the checks were each labeled as a “loan repayment,” House Republicans have argued that without supporting documents proving that Joe Biden had loaned his brother money, it appears more likely that these checks were payment for the president’s involvement in the family’s foreign business dealings.

According to Comer, the White House is also trying to block Biden family members and their associates from testifying before Congress. The House Oversight Committee chairman discussed the obstruction during a recent appearance on Newsmax.
