Israel Warns Palestinian Civilians Ahead Of Possible Ground Operation

Israel recently notified the United Nations (UN) that they should evacuate their staff and inform Palestinian civilians north of Wadi Gaza that they should move south in the next 24 hours, possibly indicating a ground invasion, according to U.N. spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric

“Today, just before midnight local time, team leaders of the UN Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the Department of Safety and Security in Gaza were informed by their liaison officers in the Israeli military that the entire population of Gaza north of Wadi Gaza should relocate to southern Gaza within the next 24 hours,” Dujarric told Axios.

This is just one of the many reasons the Israel Defense Force (IDF) sets itself apart from Hamas, a terrorist organization. The IDF has the decency to warn civilians, many of whom despise the Holy Land, to flee as it plans a potential ground operation, according to Townhall. Over 1 million Palestinians live in Wadi Gaza.

The IDF announced that it will “continue to operate significantly in Gaza City” and that Israeli forces will “make extensive efforts to avoid harming civilians,” according to Axios.

“You will be able to return to Gaza only when another announcement permitting it is made,” the IDF added.

The IDF also urged Palestinians to distance themselves from Hamas, which it said is using them as human shields.

Dujarric, among other sources, told Axios that the IDF’s notification was sent to prevent civilians from being hurt by Israel’s military actions and operations.

“We call on all civilians in Gaza City to move south,” Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant recently said press conference with U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in Tel Aviv.

“We don’t want to harm them. Whoever wants to save his life should go south. Hamas is camouflaging itself inside the civilian population and we are going to go in and dismantle its infrastructure,” Gallant added.

To date, over 1,500 Palestinians and 1,200 Israelis have been killed after Hamas launched an invasion of Israel. Nearly 30 Americans were also mercilessly killed at the hands of Hamas terrorists, per Axios.

Since Hamas’ brutal attack on Israel, the Holy Land’s military carried out a heavy bombardment of Gaza, which is home to more than 2 million Palestinians.
