Hamas Leader: We ‘Need’ Blood Of Gaza Civilians

During an address on Thursday, Hamas Leader Isamil Haniyeh admitted that the terrorist group wants Palestinian “children, women and elderly” to die in the Israel-Hamas war because they “need this blood” to awaken “revolutionary spirit.”

Hamas continues to commit war crimes by using Palestinian civilians as human shields for their attacks — purposely launching their rockets from civilian locations such as hospitals so that any retaliation from Israel could cause the deaths of innocents. The terrorist group was also caught blocking roads to prevent Gazans from escaping an area after Israel warned civilians to evacuate ahead of a planned strike on a Hamas target.

“We see an active effort by Hamas to block and prevent the population from going south. Hamas wants to show the world that it has casualties and dead,” IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari told the Times of Israel in a statement.

“We continue to urge the residents of Gaza City, go south… Hamas wants you as human shields… This is for your personal safety,” Hagari wrote. “We are going to attack very widely in Gaza City in the near future.”

Now, Hamas is going even further by blatantly advocating for the deaths of civilians.

In remarks shared by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), Haniyeh falsely claimed that Israel was committing a “new holocaust” against Palestinians, while also calling for more Palestinians to die.

“I call on everybody – all the free people of the world, all the friendly countries, all the brotherly [Arab] countries, and all the allies – to exert all the necessary pressure, in all directions and in all forums, in order to end the aggression against Gaza, to stop this war against our children, women, and elderly, our mosques, our universities, and our homes,” he said during the Thursday speech, according to a translation from MEMRI. “This brutal aggression must stop. This new holocaust must stop.”

“I have said this before, and I say it time again: The blood of the women, children, and elderly… I am not saying that this blood is calling for your [help],” the terrorist leader added. “We are the ones who need this blood, so it awakens within us the revolutionary spirit, so it awakens within us resolve, so it awakens within us the spirit of challenge, and [pushes us] to move forward.”
