TikTok Influencer Raises Bail Money For Fellow Illegal Alien

A TikTok influencer, who is an illegal alien living in Columbus, OH, wants to raise bail money for the 15-year-old illegal alien who shot and wounded a Brazilian tourist in New York City earlier this month. In his short video, Leonel Moreno, who entered the U.S. illegally, urges his TikTok followers to send bail money for fellow Venezuelan, Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa following his arrest after the Times Square shooting.

A judge ordered that Rivas-Figueroa be held without bail. He is facing attempted murder and will be charged as an adult. Rivas-Figueroa and two other teens were allegedly shoplifting from JD Sports on West 42nd St. on February 8. When caught by a security guard, Rivas-Figueroa shot at the guard with a .45 caliber handgun.

The guard was not hit but a Brazilian tourist was wounded in the leg. Rivas-Figueroa also fired two rounds at police while being pursued. He initially ran to the Stratford Hotel on West 70th St. where he has lived with his mother since September. They gathered belongings and fled to an aunt’s house in Yonkers where he was caught the next day.

His mother has been detained by immigration officials.

Leonel Moreno, the TikTok influencer urging his followers to raise bail for Rivas-Figueroa did not seem to know that Rivas-Figueroa was being held without bail. In his TikTok, Moreno urges people to think of Rivas-Figueroa’s mother. Moreno also tells his audience, “You don’t know when God is going to put you in a situation like the one this young man is in.”

The shooting in Times Square by Rivas-Figueroa is just one of three high-profile cases of illegal aliens committing crimes in the U.S. Several illegal aliens punched and kicked two NYPD officers in January. Five were arrested but four of them were released without bail and left the courthouse while lifting their middle fingers high in the air for reporters to see. They then hopped on a bus heading to California.

In the latest case of violence by an illegal alien, a 26-year-old Venezuelan national was arrested and charged with the kidnapping and murder of Laken Riley, a nursing student who was killed on the campus of the University of Georgia. The suspect, Jose Antonio Ibarra entered the U.S. in 2022 near El Paso, TX. He was paroled and released for further processing. In September 2023, Ibarra was arrested in New York City for “acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation.” He was released by the NYPD before a detainer for ICE could be issued.
