Former President Donald Trump and former Fox News Host Tucker Carlson recently emerged at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 295 to thunderous applause.
Trump and Carlson were also joined by famed singer Kid Rock, as reported by the Post Millennial.
Many are speculating that Carlson’s presence at the event has something to do with the former Fox News host potentially serving as Trump’s pick for vice president, given that the former president recently said he would consider Carlson for such a role.
Recently, Trump appeared on the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, where he said that Carlson could run alongside him in 2024 because the former Fox News host has “great common sense.”
“I want to give you a hypothetical here…Would Tucker Carlson be on your list of potential VPs?” Travis asked.
“I like Tucker a lot. I guess I would. I think I’d say I would because he’s got great common sense. You know when they say that ‘you guys are conservative’ or ‘I’m conservative.’ It’s not that we’re conservative. We have common sense. We want to have safe borders. We want to have a wall because walls work.” Trump responded.

Conservative commentator Benny Johnson was one of several conservatives who saw Carlson’s presence at UFC 295 as an indication that the former Fox News host is probably considering running alongside Trump.
“Watch this video. What do you see? All [I] see is Tucker as VP,” Johnson wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Trump was met by a roaring crowd upon entering Madison Square Garden, much like he was at previous UFC events.
In April 2023, the former president attended UFC 287 in downtown Miami, where UFC legend Jorge Masvidal began a “Let’s Go Brandon” chant.
“Also, I want to say, the greatest president in the history of the world sitting right there. I love that guy,” Masvidal said. “Let’s take that, you know who, ‘let’s go Brandon’ mother—er out of power and replace him,” he added, referencing President Joe Biden. “If I could get it, just one time: ‘Let’s Go Brandon!'”

During his time at UFC events, Trump has hung out with several high-profile people, including UFC CEO Dana White and podcaster Joe Rogan.
