The left will call for an end to gun violence, but what they really mean is “White people shouldn’t own guns.” It’s an obvious conclusion to make when Black Americans can shoot up schools, kill people, and shoot at people with no outrage whatsoever and low bonds and very little prison time.
In South Carolina, a mass shooter was let out of jail on a $25,000 bond, which is extremely low considering there were 14 people injured and 9 people shot. It’s clear that the judicial system doesn’t take mass shootings seriously and that’s a huge problem.
Jewayne M. Price, 22, was let out of jail on house arrest with the low bond because, as his lawyer says, Price turned himself in and turned over the firearm. Regardless of being able to track someone on house arrest, the incident was between people who knew each other and retaliations of some kind are typical in shootings. This isn’t only going to place Price in danger, but anyone he lives with or near him. The risk isn’t worth the reward.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott held a press conference and said, “we catch people, they serve a little bit of time, they get out and they get right back doing what they normally do and that’s [to] commit crimes. The criminal justice system needs to do better.”
After the original charge of carrying a pistol without a permit, Price is now charged with Aggravated assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and attempted murder and his bond was revoked during his second appearance in front of a judge.
There was also another shooting in Houston, Texas at a shopping mall but that was the second shooting at that mall within one month.
The left can act as an advocate for whatever group that they would like to but when mass shootings that involve Black Americans hurt families and often take lives, they can’t stay silent. They can’t advocate for rioters to be released from jail and ignore a mass shooting when it doesn’t involve a White American.
Back in October of 2021, a Black American juvenile was released from jail hours after being arrested and charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for shooting up Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas.
Gun violence has been getting more frequent lately and it’s not the gun’s fault; it’s the fault of judges and leftist activists who have pushed society to a point of forgiving the wrongdoings of some while punishing others.
