Pro-Life Group Receives Violent Threat Signed By ‘Jane’s Revenge’

A Nebraska pro-life group has allegedly been threatened by a radical pro-abortion group, receiving a note threatening to “shoot up” the building where the pro-life activists were meeting. The note was allegedly signed by the domestic terror group “Jane’s Revenge.”

Members of Students for Life Action revealed that they had discovered the note taped to the front of the St. John Paul II Newman Center in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday upon arriving to host their Nebraska Political Leadership Workshop.

According to the group, the workshop was being held in an effort to “strategize about how to use Students for Life’s Campaign for Abortion Free Cities to shut down Dr. Leroy Carhart’s infamous late-term abortion facility in the state and work towards the Sanctuary City Ordinance in Bellevue.”

The threatening note found on the building stated: “If our right to abortion in Bellevue is taken away due to the attempt to pass an abortion ban and it gets passed we will shoot up your Newman center with our new AR14 rifles (sic). Sincerely, Jane’s revenge.”

Students for Life of America shared an image of the note on Twitter.

“Jane’s Revenge Threatens Death in Bellevue, NE. Pledging to Kill Pro-life Americans with Assault Rifles if They Can’t Kill Preborn Babies with Abortion. Please pray for our team’s safety,” the group tweeted.

According to Students for Life Action, the threatening note appears to reference their Campaign for Abortion Free Cities (AFC) — where they are currently working to pass a pro-life Sanctuary City ordinance in Bellevue, Nebraska.

In their press release about the incident, the organization stated that — since the launch of the campaign in Bellevue in March 2021 — they have “reached 12,271 neighbors, held 2,212 in-person conversations with community members, activated over 1,000 people, and changed the minds of hundreds.”

KETV Omaha reports that the Newman Center, which is located near the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s Scott Campus, houses some students from UNO and surrounding colleges.

Speaking with the local news outlet, UNO Public Safety noted that they are working alongside the Omaha Police and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the “threat of violence” — adding that security will be increased in the area during the ongoing investigation.

The director of the St. John Paul II Newman Center, Rev. Dan Andrews, also spoke to the outlet about the threat, saying that they will not be deterred.

“This obviously causes us great concern. Our number one priority is the safety of our students… We are thankful for UNO Police’s prompt response and attention to this threat,” Andrews said.

This threatening note is just the latest in a long line of incidents by the pro-abortion domestic terror group “Jane’s Revenge.” The group has claimed responsibility for over a dozen acts of vandalism and fire-bombings, all perpetrated against pro-life centers and churches since news broke that the Supreme Court was poised to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Meanwhile, federal authorities appear to be dragging their feet on the issue, and not taking any action against these terrorists who are attacking pro-life groups.

According to Breitbart News, “The FBI said in June that it was investigating a wave of attacks against pro-life centers across the country, but as of early October, the FBI had not confirmed whether any arrests had been made in attacks against at least 83 Catholic churches and 73 pregnancy resource centers and organizations.”

Students for Life has demanded that the Biden administration’s attorney general, Merrick Garland, “do his job” to protect Americans regardless of their views, instead of using his office to “repeatedly weapon[ize] the law against those with pro-life views, either by neglect or attack.”

“We are headed towards tragedy if law enforcement does not act,” said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life Action and Students for Life of America.

“The incendiary and malignant comments of people like Hillary Clinton, comparing peaceful pro-life Americans to terrorists is case in point of the poison political climate being deliberately fostered by Corporate Abortion and their political allies,” Hawkins added. “The Pro-Life Gen will not be silent in our defense of preborn children and their mothers. But let’s be clear, the Biden Administration’s negligence and toxic support of death by abortion is laying the groundwork for horrifying headlines and loss of life, should they not act in defense of all Americans starting today.”
