Pete Buttigieg’s Solution For Rising Gas Prices Is So Simple: “Just Get An Electric Vehicle”

When will people learn not to be concerned with what is going on in the world? Democratic Party rulers know what is best for them and all they have to do is listen to their advice. After all, their ideas are so straightforward that they appear to be simple to implement!

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has a solution for rising gas costs that is so simple it borders on the ludicrous. People need to get an electric vehicle, stupid gooses. He pledged a $5 billion commitment to construct a countrywide charging network for electric vehicles. “Clean transportation may also result in major financial savings for the American people.”

Moreover, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and his Biden administration cronies never consider that electric automobiles are substantially more expensive than gas vehicles, especially when a family may not be in the market for a new vehicle in the first place. Why be concerned about rising petrol costs when Mayor Pete is on hand with a big ol’ mouthful of public money?

According to one Twitter user, if you don’t have one, you won’t be able to buy a car with just a photo ID. According to Kelley Blue Book, the average transaction price for an electric vehicle (EV) is $56,437. It is nearly $10,000 more than the total industry average of $46,329, including gas and electric vehicles. “In terms of cost, an EV is comparable to an entry-level luxury automobile,” CNBC reported in December.

It’s a simple answer and a no-brainer in the left’s perspective. It’s similar to Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech over the weekend: The president saw the answers as so straightforward that he was almost cavalier about them. Just because a Democrat believes a solution is simple does not imply that it is.
