Over 100 Sheriffs Condemn Stacey Abrams’ Policies

Leftist media darling Stacey Abrams’ continuing support for anti-police measures is in the spotlight after 102 Georgia sheriff’s harshly condemned her soft-on-crime policies.

The two-time candidate for governor was called out in a joint statement for her role in the Defund the Police movement. Abrams serves as a board member and governor of the Seattle-based Marguerite Casey Foundation, which actively calls for “defunding” police and even “abolishing” prisons.

In a joint statement, the 102 sheriffs accused the Democratic candidate of showing “complete disdain” for law enforcement officers.

The statement cites Abrams’ support for freeing criminals and wiping their records clean. The sheriffs added that, as a state legislator, she opposed measures to end human trafficking.

Abrams is running for a second time against Republican Gov. Brian Kemp. The same statement praised his support for keeping communities safe and steadfast opposition to “prevent law enforcement from being defunded.”

And yes, this is the same Stacey Abrams pushing her “Big Lie” that the 2018 election was “stolen from Georgians.”

While the House Jan. 6 Select Committee continues to grandstand over former President Donald Trump’s “election denial,” leftists turn a blind eye to their pet candidate in Georgia.

Abrams not only never conceded the 2018 race but continues to hurl charges of “voter suppression” and the “rigging” of the final tally.

Amazingly, the state now posts record voter turnout, which is a funny way to “end democracy,” as Democrats love to charge. President Joe Biden called the state’s election security laws “Jim Crow 2.0.”

One must never let the facts get in the way of a good argument.

And far from being an advocate for the state she repeatedly attempts to lead, Abrams is first in line to push businesses away if it furthers her own agenda.

Look no further than the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade. Abrams warned that companies should take into account the “danger” posed by Kemp to “the life and welfare of women” before doing business in Georgia.

And remember, she is running for governor of the “worst state to live in.”

Over 100 Georgia sheriffs know what the majority of the state’s voters also undoubtedly realize. Stacey Abrams represents Stacey Abrams, and all the adoration by the media and Hollywood will not matter when voters go to the polls in November.
