Kari Lake Begins Creating Her Transition Team, Reports Confidence In Victory

Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is so sure of an inevitable win for her campaign that she has already begun putting together a transition team.

The race has not yet been called, with counties such as Maricopa still not finishing vote counts. Kari Lake is registered at 49.6% of the vote while her Democrat opponent, Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, holds 50.4% of the vote with 70% reporting.

“I had meetings with staff yesterday,” Lake said on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show. “We’re working already on moving forward on transition and we are bringing in an entire staff that is dedicated to just our border plan.”

Lake has pledged to sue the Biden administration for its negligence surrounding protecting the American people from the ongoing invasion by illegal aliens at the southern border.

“We’re looking at hiring attorneys already and some really top-notch people who understand the Constitution, the border, and how to deal with the federal government,” stated Lake.

“We have a plan called ‘Defend Arizona’ and we’re going to lean heavily on Article One, Section 10 of the US Constitution,” she later explained. “When we’re being invaded we can protect our citizens and protect our border. We’ll issue a declaration of invasion on day one. We’re going to work to stop people from coming over illegally and shut down the fentanyl trafficking that is flowing through Arizona. This is a weapon of mass destruction.”

Lake has additionally promised to restore the faith of Arizonans as it pertains to the system of elections should she assume the office of governor.

“We’re not going to have this continue when I’m governor,” Lake said, referring to the delayed counting of ballots in Arizona counties. “I can rest assured I will win. We know that votes are left to be counted and we know they are going to lean heavily Republican. And we’re going to restore faith and honesty in our elections starting on day one.”

Lake’s rhetoric on elections has enraged many in the mainstream media, with articles referring to her as an “election denier” appearing all over.
