Hageman Demands Blinken Testify On Hunter Biden Cover-Up

On Saturday, Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) demanded that Joe Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken appear before Congress to address his involvement in an October 2020 letter discrediting the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story. Breitbart News exclusively reported on Hageman’s statements, revealing her growing concern over Blinken’s potential compromise as the nation’s top diplomat.

Hageman, a member of the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, urged Blinken to testify before either the Judiciary or Weaponization Committees. She believes Blinken’s involvement in the cover-up of the Hunter Biden laptop story, which suggests Joe Biden and his family profited from Hunter’s questionable foreign business dealings, raises serious questions about his ability to represent American interests abroad.

Hageman questioned Blinken’s allegiance, asking whether he would defend the Biden family or the United States. She accused him of prioritizing the protection of the Bidens over national security, implying that he failed to uphold his oath of office.

This comes after Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), chair of the Weaponization Committee, and Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), chair of the Intelligence Committee, disclosed on Thursday that former CIA Deputy Director Mike Morell testified about Blinken’s involvement in the October 2020 letter. Morell stated that Blinken, then a senior adviser to the Biden campaign, contacted him regarding the Hunter Biden laptop story. This prompted Morell to write the letter, which was signed by 50 other former intelligence officials, suggesting the report was Russian disinformation.

Jordan also pointed out that Joe Biden’s presidential campaign made the letter “seem organic,” despite knowing about Blinken’s role in orchestrating it. He emphasized that the document was both false and served as a basis for suppressing the laptop story from the American people.

Hageman expressed her concern that Blinken may not be acting in America’s best interest when interacting with foreign counterparts, especially those from China, Russia, and Ukraine. In addition, she highlighted the depth of corruption within the current administration, arguing that Blinken’s allegiance lies with the Bidens rather than the country.

Both Hageman and Jordan have insisted on holding Blinken accountable for his actions and determining the extent of his involvement in what they see as one of the most significant cover-ups in US history. The stakes are high as Blinken’s ability to protect and defend the United States and its citizens hangs in the balance. The American people deserve answers, and it remains to be seen whether Blinken will provide them by testifying before Congress.
