After the raid on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, it should come as no surprise that Democrats are trying to frame him for yet another crime.
The case, which is being tried in New York is supposedly to look into Trump’s real estate business dealings. Specifically, whether or not Trump’s real estate business was reporting varying values for the same real estate property.
On NBC, the news that a New York court had ruled that Trump had to testify in the case was reported.
A Breitbart article states “Former President Donald Trump faces a deposition Wednesday by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who has made pursuing Trump a focus of her office since she was elected in 2018”.
It is interesting that New York Attorney General Letitia James is concerned over President Trump’s business dealings when there is no evidence of any wrongdoing, but she is not motivated to look into Hillary Clinton’s business dealings.
New York is plagued by crime, homelessness, drug problems, and many other issues but if the irrelevant business dealings of a past president who does not agree with her politically inspires her to do something then that would be unfortunate. She should be concerned with the well-being and prosperity of her constituents, not Donald Trump’s real estate business.
In a CNBC article, it quotes a former New York prosecutor as saying if Trump “had been Joe Blow from Kokomo, we would have indicted without a big debate.” That is interesting considering Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden are only free from probing because of their status and wealth.
Echoing this sentiment, Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) tweeted “Hillary Clinton deleted 33,000 emails. If no one is above the law, why was Clinton”?

President Trump, for his part, is upset at what he calls “ a politically motivated witch hunt”.
A Fox News article says that President Trump commented “ “I did nothing wrong, which is why, after five years of looking, the Federal, State and local governments, together with the Fake News Media, have found nothing,”.
As if the January 6 show trials were not enough, now we have another abuse of our nation’s law enforcement arms persecuting former President Trump for alleged crimes that no one has been able to convict him of. When this ends, maybe we as a nation can turn our attention to true criminals and others with truly questionable business dealings?
And perhaps Steve Bannon’s recent speech that promised such criminal investigations may be the real motivation behind the FBIs most recent overstep — Hunter is still under the protection of federal law enforcement.
