Dan Crenshaw Under Fire After Threatening Tucker Carlson On Camera

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) is facing sharp criticism after a hot mic caught him making a violent remark about conservative commentator Tucker Carlson. The video, recorded after an interview with Great Britain News, captured Crenshaw saying that if he ever met Carlson, he would “f***ing kill him.” He followed up by calling Carlson “the worst person ever.”

The remark quickly gained traction online, with conservatives blasting Crenshaw for his hostility toward a popular voice in the America-First movement. Elon Musk weighed in, questioning why Crenshaw was so “homicidal” toward Carlson. Meanwhile, Carlson challenged Crenshaw to face him in an interview, writing, “Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address.”

Crenshaw and Carlson have clashed for years, especially over foreign policy. Crenshaw has openly supported U.S. aid to Ukraine, previously explaining that the goal was not to help Ukraine win but to deplete Russia’s military. This admission suggested he was willing to support a war that Ukrainians could not win, as long as it hurt Russia. Carlson, a vocal critic of interventionist policies, has repeatedly condemned such thinking.

Beyond policy differences, their feud has turned personal. Crenshaw has accused Carlson of spreading “false narratives” for personal gain, while Carlson has branded Crenshaw “Eye Patch McCain,” comparing him to the late Sen. John McCain and his foreign policy positions. Last year, Carlson called Crenshaw “one of the dumbest, most liberal Republicans” and suggested he should be “bagging groceries at Walmart.”

Following the backlash, Crenshaw denied that he had made a serious threat, dismissing concerns raised by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). However, Great Britain News reporter Steven Edgington confirmed that Crenshaw’s remark was caught on video, stating, “We literally have it on video.” Despite the clip being taken down from X, multiple accounts have continued to circulate it, keeping the controversy alive.
