Biden Criticized For Suggesting American Children Are Collectively Owned

President Joe Biden received criticism from concerned parents after he suggested that “our nation’s children are all our children,” saying that there is “no such thing as someone else’s child.”

Despite Biden’s suggestion, while Hunter Biden’s four-year-old child belongs to the U.S., she does not belong in the Biden family.

During a “Take Your Child to Work” event at the White House, Biden answered several questions from hand-picked reporters and the children of administration staffers.

The New York Post reported that when asked about the last country he traveled to, Biden had trouble answering.

“The last country I’ve traveled, I’m trying to think of the last one I was in,” Biden said. “I’ve been to, met with 89 heads of state so far. So, uh, trying to think where was the last place I was; it’s hard to keep track.”

A child in the crowd answered the question for Biden, shouting, “Ireland.”

“Yeah, you’re right. Ireland. That’s where it was,” Biden replied to the child. “How’d you know that?

In April 2023, Biden traveled to Ireland for four days, where he told parliamentarians, “I’m home.”

During the event, Biden mentioned the various children in his life: “I have six grandchildren and I am crazy about them. I speak to them every single day. Not a joke. As a matter of fact, I just got finished going through the calls and, um, only one of them answered the phone,” he said.

Biden then proceeded to list the names of his grandchildren: Naomi, 29; Finnegan, 23; Maisy, 22; Natalie, 18; Robert Hunter Biden II, 17; and Beau Jr., 2.

He did not mention Navy Joan Roberts, the daughter of Hunter, whom neither Hunter nor he have reportedly tried to meet.

While Hunter was still dating his brother Beau’s widow, he met Lunden Roberts, a former adult performer in Washington, D.C., at the Mprie Club where she worked.

According to Hunter’s memoir, “Beautiful Things,” he and Roberts later conceived a child, but he had “no recollection” of the encounter.

In court, Hunter challenged Roberts and tried to avoid taking a paternity test and paying child support. After the paternity test, it was confirmed that Hunter was the father of Navy Joan Roberts, making Joe Biden the little girl’s grandfather.

After the paternity test results, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Joe Biden: “I’m wondering if you have a comment on this report, and court filing, out of Arkansas that your son Hunter just made you a grandfather again.”

“No, that’s a private matter and I have no comment,” Biden replied. “Only you would ask that. … You’re a good man. You’re a good man. Classy.”

An Arkansas judge recently ordered Hunter to appear in court on May 1, 2023, as well as potential hearings concerning the ongoing paternity test.

Months after a DNA test confirmed Hunter’s paternity, NBC News reported, before the 2023 presidential election, that then-candidate Joe Biden only had six grandchildren.
