Biden Administration Deems Twitter Files ‘Old News’

It was the moment conservatives had been waiting for, the release of what we all have known to be true for years. The release of the Twitter Files was exciting and felt like justice was going to finally be served.

The “news” wasn’t anything conservatives didn’t already know. It’s just that the rest of the world labeled anyone who dared to say there was censorship a tin-foil-hat-wearing lunatic.
According to the left, censorship didn’t exist and the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. The Twitter Files have provided in-your-face evidence that both statements are false.

The administration realizes that any minion they might have had at Twitter is now irrelevant since the company was purchased by billionaire Elon Musk in October who has vowed to promote something they’re terrified of: free speech.

White House Press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre labeled the Twitter Files a “distraction” and “old news” at a press conference on Monday.

Considering the administration never acknowledged the story as “news” at all, it seems unfair to now say it’s old. Maybe if the world were allowed to pay any attention to it when it originally broke before the 2020 elections, we could call it old. But the world was never given the opportunity to even hear it thanks to the back-end strings being pulled at Twitter (and likely throughout the entire media machine).

After pretending to address the story without actually addressing it, she quickly pointed her finger back at Twitter, accusing the platform of coincidentally releasing the “old news” at a time when the platform is under scrutiny.

“And at the same time, Twitter is facing real and very serious questions about the rising volume of anger, hate, and anti-Semitism on that platform and how they’re letting it happen. And you know, the president said last week, more leaders need to speak out and reject this. And it’s very alarming and very dangerous,” she stated.
