Bernie Kerik Slams Nancy Pelosi And The Absurd January 6 Commission

As a New York City police officer, Bernie Kerik joined the New York City Police Department (NYPD) in 1986. He was commissioner of the New York City Department of Correction between 1998 and 2000. And served as New York City Police Commissioner from 2000–2001 during the September 11 attacks.

Kerik has a close personal relationship with Rudy Giuliani, who served as Donald Trump’s lawyer. He was involved in consulting on projects. Kerik has known Giuliani for quite a long time. He was his driver and bodyguard during the 1993 mayoral campaign.

In a Washington DC hotel in the weeks leading up to the January 6 rally, a group of Trump advisors sought a way to address legitimate concerns. Trump’s lawyers and consultants planned a response to fraud in the 2020 election. Rudy Giuliani, Steve Bannon, Bernard Kerik, John Eastman, Christina Bobb, Phil Waldron, and Boris Epshteyn. Many of these people are now members of the MAGA posse.

The plan was to publicize evidence of voter fraud, urge members of state legislatures to challenge, audit, or even decertify votes. On January 6, the Capitol was stormed by a mob, including many FBI informants and agents.

Rooms and suites were at the Willard Hotel, a block from the White House. The Trump campaign reimbursed Kerik’s firm for more than $55,000. The congressional panel investigating January 6 also cited Bannon’s involvement at the “‘war room’ organized at the Willard.

Democrat Representative Nancy Pelosi is the Speaker of the House and guides many activities on Capitol Hill. Through an investigative panel, Congress summoned Bernard Kerik for inciting a riot and insurrection. His attorney says that these accusations are false.

Kerik may demand an apology from the Congressional panel. But he has stated that he plans to conform to the summons served.

He worked with Rudy Giuliani, looking for proof of voter fraud. He was seeking out any evidence that Democrats might have swung the election. The FBI, as well as other agencies, investigated cases of broad extortion. Trump’s team found that judges refused even to hear the evidence, dismissing their pleas in different courts. Bill Barr, Trump’s AG, said that the FBI did not find anything that changed the election results.

Congress summoned Kerik because he was at the Willard Hotel with Giuliani and Bannon. They seem to think that this was where the plans for the coup were hatched. Except that a coup never occurred, unless you count the Russia probe, which dogged Trump’s entire presidency.

Democrat Representative Bennie Thompson (MS) is the committee chair and thinks Bob Woodward’s book is evidence of verifying statements concerning Kerik. But Kerik’s lawyer Timothy C. Parlatore said there was no evidence that Kerik went to the gathering and that the book does not reference Kerik. According to Parlatore, Kerik was in New York on January 5 because of family health.

Timothy C. Parlatore wrote to Thompson that somebody on his staff was and ought to be considered responsible for this accusation. They deliberately created this case or mistakenly composed a letter asserting that the sources uncovered solid proof when they did not. He states that Mr. Kerik requests that the letter and official statement be removed or revised. Parlatore demands an apology regardless of whether deliberate or careless.
