For the past several months, CNN has continuously gotten negative press. One of the main reasons for this deals with all the scandals various CNN workers have caught up in due to their behavior.
There’s been a disturbing pattern of CNN employees getting into trouble with the law for their behavior towards women and children. Today, many of the network’s ex-employees are looking at serious criminal charges.
It has understandably caused the country to question the culture of CNN, along with what’s happening with the network behind closed doors. Now, a brand new report from Newsmax shows that yet another CNN worker has been fired from the job.
As it turns out, the latest firing is traced back to disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. As many Americans know, the former Governor resigned from office last year over a series of allegations regarding his treatment of women.
Allison Gollust, the now-former Chief Marketing Expert for CNN, lost her job secretly preparing Cuomo for a March 2020 interview. Gollust took it upon herself to ask the then-New York Governor what kinds of questions he wanted to be asked when speaking with CNN.
Coincidentally, Gollust is also caught in a romantic relationship with now-former CNN President Jeff Zucker. Zucker resigned from CNN earlier this year after news came out about his relationship with Gollust and his failure to disclose this relationship to CNN.
Considering the back-to-back list of CNN workers who have been fired over corruption or serious crimes they committed, many Americans are now wondering to themselves who will be next to go.
Some folks believe it could be news anchor Don Lemon. Lemon is accused of behaving physically inappropriate towards another man while at an upscale bar.
The CNN anchor has denied the allegations and attempted to settle with his accuser outside of court. However, the accuser has refused. It is still all playing out in court.
On top of a severe problem with CNN employees, the network contends with absolutely atrocious ratings. CNN ratings fell dramatically since former President Trump left the White House last January, and they’ve never quite recovered since.
If things continue on their current trajectory, it’s not looking perfect for CNN’s future. However, should the network itself ultimately fall apart, it won’t be missed by much of the country.
