American Workers Suffer Job Losses As Foreign-Born Workers Prosper

The Biden-Harris administration is under fire following the release of the August jobs report, which revealed that 1.3 million native-born Americans lost their jobs while 635,000 foreign-born workers gained employment. This stark contrast has led to increased criticism from conservative lawmakers and commentators, who argue that current policies are hurting American workers.

President Donald Trump called the report “a disaster for American citizens” and emphasized that foreign nationals are benefiting from the administration’s open-border policies. “We’re seeing exactly what I warned about — foreign workers are taking jobs away from Americans,” Trump said.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) echoed Trump’s concerns, stating that illegal immigration is driving down wages and eliminating job opportunities for American citizens. “This report shows that American families are paying the price for the administration’s failed immigration policies,” Lee said.

In addition to the job losses for native-born Americans, the report also highlighted a troubling shift toward part-time work. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that 438,000 full-time jobs were lost last month, while 527,000 part-time jobs were added. Many of these part-time positions lack crucial benefits like health insurance, leaving families in a difficult financial position.

The loss of full-time employment, coupled with rising inflation, is making it harder for American families to make ends meet. Critics argue that the Biden-Harris administration’s policies are exacerbating these challenges by prioritizing foreign-born workers over native-born citizens.

As the job market continues to shift, many conservatives are calling for immediate action to protect American workers from the negative effects of the administration’s immigration and labor policies.
